1-800-Haul-Out
Appliance Removal Services
Replacing an appliance often leaves one more problem: getting the old one out. 1-800-Haul-Out helps remove unwanted appliances in the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh service areas. Tell us what the appliance is, where it is located, and whether it is disconnected and ready to move.
Our team will confirm the accepted items, preparation needed, access, availability, and removal price before work begins.
Request a junk removal estimate or call 1-800-428-5688. Submitting a request does not reserve an appointment; our team will contact you to confirm coverage, availability, and next steps.
Tell us which appliances need to go
- Refrigerators and freezers
- Washing machines and dryers
- Stoves, ovens, and dishwashers
- Other household or business appliances, subject to confirmation
Send photos and a complete item list. Mention oversized or commercial equipment, water remaining inside an appliance, damage, or anything that may affect handling.
Disconnection and preparation
Let us know whether the appliance is connected to gas, electricity, water, or a drain. Do not assume disconnection or utility work is included in hauling. Confirm preparation with our team and arrange any necessary qualified trade work before pickup.
Empty personal contents and food from the appliance, and discuss any remaining water or loose components when planning the removal. Avoid attempting a heavy lift just to get the appliance outside.
Plan the route from the appliance to the truck
Include the room and floor, stairs, elevator access, doorway restrictions, and parking or loading location. A basement washer and a garage refrigerator may need different removal arrangements even when they are at the same address.
For apartments or commercial buildings, tell us about elevator reservations, loading-dock hours, or building access rules. If a replacement appliance is being delivered, share the timing so availability can be checked.
What affects appliance removal pricing?
The appliance type and size, the number of items, their weight, access, and handling requirements all help define the work. Photos and accurate access details help start the estimate; the removal price is confirmed before work begins.
Appliance removal with a larger cleanout
If furniture, cabinets, or other contents also need to go, include them in the request. On a recent whole-house cleanout in Feasterville-Trevose, our crew removed appliances alongside furniture and other debris. A complete item list helps us plan the job as a whole.
